Our topic this half term is ‘Jungle Explorers’.
Today we thought about the things that we might see, hear, smell and taste when we visit the jungle. We talked about what we would take in our backpacks to survive a month.
We decided that we should take:
- water
- food
- shelter
- blankets
- sleeping bags
- insect repellent
- sun cream
- protective clothing
- night vision goggles
- boots
- a map
- a compass
To prepare ourselves for the journey ahead, we practised building a jungle shelter in our playground!
