In Class 4, we celebrated the end of our project by throwing a carnival for our parents. We transformed the classroom into the Amazon Rainforest by hanging ‘vines’ that we had made.
We made some guacamole and salsa to eat with our tortilla chips. They were quite spicy! We also made some Mexican cinnamon biscuits which were delicious.
In our Computing lessons we had made an app all about the Mayans, so we had QR codes up around the classroom which let the parents and teachers access our apps.
We loved celebrating with our parents and even performed our South American dance to them to complete the carnival!
It was a wonderful afternoon and we loved sharing everything we had done with our families, friends and teachers who came to visit.
