Today we had a special day celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.
Everyone came into school wearing red, white and blue to represent the Union Jack, some people even came in as kings and queens too! We had such a fun time looking at each other’s special coronation clothes!
We came together as a whole school to talk about what a Coronation is and what it means. For lunch Nursery had such an exciting time, with our first visit to the roof! The whole school came together for a special picnic lunch, with sandwiches, and sausage rolls. Yesterday and this morning, Nursery and the rest of the school decorated union jack bunting! The bunting of the whole school decorated the roof around us, it was a lovely and very patriotic view.
Nursery had such a lovely day, and we are all looking forward to the Coronation tomorrow!
