We started the new term reading T.S.Eliot’s poem, Macavity, which we thoroughly enjoyed reading. We used this poem to create the basis of our assembly script, which the whole class were involved in writing. We took inspiration from Cats the musical, the poem itself and Sherlock Holmes. Unlike in the poem, Sherlock Holmes was able to help the police imprison Macavity…for a brief time, as he was rescued by his trusty friends, the Jellicle Cats.
