Class worship in Year 1

The children led a beautiful class worship this week. We planned it ourselves and made sure that we followed this structure:

Mission

We began by making the sign of the cross and listening to the beautiful music. We set up the environment with candles and the special cloth.

We then read a reading from John 4:7-16 which is about God’s love.

We then had time to talk silently to God and listened to the music in the background. We then said a prayer together, reflecting on the scripture.

We tried very hard all day to be extra kind to each other. We also remembered that God loves us and we need to love one another.
