This week Year 4 were so excited as we are finally able to being Computing!
The class were super speedy at logging in, thanks to all the practice they had during remote learning!
For our lesson we used the LOGO software to learn how to code.
We thought carefully about how to give precise instructions to make our pen move across the screen!
The first challenge was simple, to draw a square, but the class then had to use coding language such as FD100 to make the pen move forwards, and PD and PU to move the pen up and down depending on where we needed it to draw.
Year 4 were so brilliant at coding and picked it up really quickly, we had some fantastic windows drawn using code language and we were even able to use custom colours to make them really stand out 🙂
