In Computing we have been learning about Algorithms. Algorithms are a sequence of instructions or a set of rules to follow in order to solve a problem.
We decided to tell the robot how to make toast but the robot said ‘error’ a lot! We then realised that we had to be very precise and clear when programming the robot. The following week we gave the robot instructions on how to make a jam sandwich. We wrote a clear set of instructions then tested it out!
The set of instructions were very clear except we forgot to tell the robot to take the lid off the jam! We amended our instructions until the jam sandwich was made!
We practised our English by writing out the instructions then worked together to make a jam sandwich!
