We have been learning all about why birthdays are special. In Maths we have been practising our counting skills. We counted different coloured balloons together and practised seeing how many times we could keep our balloon in the air. We also talked about the different sizes of the balloons using the words ‘big’ and ‘small.’
We made our own candles using unifix cubes. We made big and small candles and counted how many cubes we used for each candle. We were able to recognise the numbers 1-5.
We are excited to make some playdough together this afternoon and make birthday cakes for Kipper! We will continue our counting skills by counting each candle we add to our playdough cakes.
