Year 1 had the most fantastic day today. The sun came out with his hat on whilst we visited the Education Centre in the middle of Hyde Park. We learnt lots of things about plants and then searched the park for Oak, Birch, Beech, Horse Chestnut, Sweet Chestnut and Lime trees! Once we knew the difference between all the trees we then made a picture collecting different parts of nature from around the beautiful park. The last activity we completed was to plant our own seeds to take home. It was such a fun day and the most exciting part for a lot of us was when we saw a spider wrapping up a bumble bee for his dinner. The picture is below if you are brave enough to look!
