Well done to Key Stage Two today for the wonderful Easter Celebration!
Today the children performed the last events of Jesus’ life, reading clearly and acting the scenes for the rest of the school and their families. The orchestra and chamber choir played and sang beautifully, demonstrating their superb talents. We really enjoyed hearing Year 3 on their recorders and Year 4 playing their ukuleles while singing. The whole of KS2 sang beautifully as well, and even included some Makaton signs in their songs, and the younger children enjoyed joining in with the singing!
It was lovely to come together as a school family and it was a very moving celebration of our faith.
Special thanks to Miss Siswick, Mr Hylton, Mr Kersys, Mrs Lord Walsh and all the KS2 staff for preparing the children.
We wish you all a happy and holy Easter!

A fantastic Easter celebration in St James’ Church. Thank you to the children and staff for making it so very special …. The singing, acting, narrating and music were all beautifully done. A huge amount of hard work appreciated by us all.
