This week in English we have begun our class book, ‘Dogger’ by Shirley Hughes. We looked at the front cover and tried to predict what the story might be about. We then talked about the times we have lost something and how we felt.
Before reading the whole book we looked at different pictures to see if we could describe what was happening. We worked with our partner to write some words or a sentence.
To challenge ourselves even further we looked at sentences that did not have full stops or capital letters. We worked hard to write the sentences about Dogger using correct punctuation.
