This week, Year 3 have worked very hard writing their own play script. Before composing their play scripts, the children looked carefully at the features including the character names, setting description, stage directions and dialogue.
The children then had a big task: to write scene 3 of our class assembly next week. This involved Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovering and exploring the tomb of Tutankhamun!
After writing and editing the play scripts the children enjoyed directing cast members to act out their scene remembering the stage directions!
