Enterprise Week 2024 has come to a close, and what a week it has been! Across the entire school, from nursery all the way to Year 6, we had jam-packed agendas from start to finish and learned so much along the way. Each class worked as a team to come up with a product to sell. They then built a business around this product by creating a company name, logo, and slogan. Afterward, they went to market with the product by sharing their self-produced advertisements with the entire school—each one absolutely fantastic, and all of which have been attached to this post. Grab your popcorn and enjoy!

As well as coming up with and marketing the product, everyone had the opportunity to purchase products from other year groups. We then tallied the number of orders received and set to work creating the items in time for delivery on Friday. We were very lucky to have many of our parents come into the school and assist with making the products, and we really appreciated their help. It was also an amazing opportunity for parents to see first-hand the amount of effort the students put into setting up their businesses.

In addition, each class had several parents visit and teach the students about their own jobs. This was a great opportunity for the students to gain a better understanding of the world of work. The children enjoyed every second of it and learned so much. Thanks to all the parents who came and dedicated so much time and effort to their sessions.

As we reflect on the success of Enterprise Week, it’s clear that the hard work and creativity of our students made this event truly memorable. It was a fantastic learning experience for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to see how the skills developed this week will inspire our students in the future. Thank you to all who contributed, and we look forward to next year.
