This week we completed a First Aid workshop.
We were so grateful to the SVPA for funding this, as we learned so much! Many of us were so grateful for the opportunity to learn how to perform CPR because it can save a person’s life whilst they wait for emergency services. We reviewed the stages of CPR and then practised with partners on dummies. To ensure we got the timing correct, we practiced to the tune of Baby Shark! After this, we learned how to treat burns and how to put someone in the recovery position.
This was such an incredible, hands on opportunity for us to review. Thank you so much to the SVPA! We appreciate all you do!
