On Wednesday we had a very practical ‘Understanding of the World’ lesson. We learnt that some objects float on water and some sink. We learnt that not all heavy objects sink and not all light objects float.
First, the children looked at pictures and sorted them into the floating/sinking hoops. They then tested if their predictions were correct!
