In our Art lessons, we have been learning about Frida Kahlo.
Frida Kahlo is a Mexican painter known for her self-portraits and inspired by her home country of Mexico.
We created our own paintings in her style, thinking about where we come from and what we like about it. We thought about the pose we wanted to have of ourselves in the painting. It was fun having to mix the colours of the paint to create the correct colour and tone for our paintings. Some of us wanted them to be bright and colourful, others wanted it very green for all the nature, and others wanted it a bit darker.
