Today we made fruit salad!
First we talked about the foods that make us healthy and the importance of keeping our bodies and brain healthy. Next, we sorted some pictures into healthy and not healthy. We then made our own fruit salad, experimenting with texture and taste. The children each had a piece of fruit to cut and were taught how to cut the fruit sensibly with a knife. Once we had cut up all of our fruit we had the chance to taste it!
