Today, I was headteacher for the day! I was so nervous but I got used to it in the end. I got to spend a whole day going around the school doing different jobs. First I arrived at school , at 08:20. Miss Coleman took my picture and put it on the teacher board, which has the name and picture of every teacher in the school. When that was done, we went outside.

When we were outside, I was given a bottle of hand gel and I had to give it out to everyone. It was really fun (although I started to get a bit cold at the end). After that, me and Miss Coleman went into the office where we did the late book, we had to write down all the names of the late people.

When we were finished doing that, we started preparing the assembly. I even got a sneak peek at the winners of the science poster competition and the Easter bonnet competition! When we were ready, the rest of the school came in and I did the assembly. It was so amazing! My rule was that everyone could sit where they wanted for lunch. Also , before that I introduced a woman called Valentina from STIR who spoke about healthy eating.

After the assembly, Miss Coleman and I went in all the different classes. I was watching the teachers teaching and the children working, while Miss Coleman took lots of pictures with her Ipad. After break, we went to visit the teachers again and I each gave them a piece of advice then told them what I thought they did really well.

Then,we went outside to walk Molly in Paddington Gardens, that was probably the funniest part I think. When we came back, we went to see year 1,2 and 3, and I got to try some of their food. It was lasagne with runner beans. I thought it was very good.

After I had finished my lunch, I went down to write this newsletter and as soon as I had done that I started picking things to order for the school. I had a budget of £50. Right now I am still picking some nice things that I think will help. I cannot wait to give out sun stickers when I am done!

This was a FUN and INSPIRING day! I 100% recommend this to you. You will never forget this amazing adventure!!
