Today, Year 6 were invited by City Lions to a free Ice skating session at Somerset House. It was a beautiful, sunny day and everyone had a fabulous time. Year 6 had to show great resilience as many of them fell over lots of times, but every time, they got and kept on skating with big smiles on their faces!

The ice skating was so much fun. I had a hard time keeping my balance but I managed -sort of- to move around on the ice without falling over too much. I absolutely loved this opportunity we had and I am so excited to go on more trips!

I LOVEDDD ice skating at Somerset House! I was already really good at ice skating so I didn’t fall over. The weather was perfect and I wish we could do it again. Thank you City Lions for inviting us and I’m looking forward on going on more trips. ⛸️❄️
I absolutely loved the ice it was slippery but fun. I only managed to fall oner 8 times but it was so much fun.

I loved the ice skating thank you Miss Siswick and Miss Healy for taking us on this trip I think everyone enjoyed it and it was really fun to ice skate again.
