Key Stage 2 treated us this afternoon to their wonderful Christmas Celebration at St. James’s Church.
They retold the nativity story through music, songs and Bible readings, as well as leading us in prayer. The orchestra played magnificently to open the event and Year 3 & 4 played some wonderful songs on the recorder. There was so much fantastic singing – well done to the soloists, chamber choir and all of KS2 for singing so beautifully and enthusiastically.
It was a very special celebration as it was the first time we had had it back in church since 2019! But it was especially special as it was Mr Rees’ last Christmas Celebration with us.
Well done Key Stage 2! You all lifted our spirits on this cold, wintery day and brought joy to everyone with your singing!
Thank you to Miss Siswick, Mr Rees, Mr Kersys and Miss Walsh for organising this event.

Thank you Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 for giving up your time to preform a glorious celebration. All of the soloists and the whole of KS2 sang beautifully and orchestra played their instruments enthusiastically. I was a soloist and I was really nervous and I’m sure a lot of other people were. Again, thank you!!
I really enjoyed this Christmas celebration in the choir and orchestra. Thank you to all the teachers who helped organise this and we will also all really miss Mr Rees in the new year. This was my last Christmas Celebration at St Vincents’ so it was really nice that we were able to have it in the church!
I loved doing the Christmas celebration and I am a bit sad as that was my last one but overall really enjoyed the Christmas celebration and I think everyone should be really proud of themselves.Well done to the whole of KS2 and thank you to all the teachers who organised it. Thank you Mr Rees for doing the orchestra and playing the piano in all of the songs.
This Christmas celebration was just so heavenly! The singing was so soothing and beautiful! What a show!
You made us all so proud to be a part of this amazing school. Miss. Siswick and Mr. Rees you are both geniuses! Well done to everyone involved in this production!👏👏

That was a great Christmas celebration since what seems like forever! It’s such a disappointment that Mr Rees is leaving but this celebration brought joy and happiness to me and I hope to all of you too.
It was wonderful having this celebration. We had not had it in church since 2019!
