In R.E. we have been learning about Paul. He was one of the first, and best, missionaries and spread the Good News of Jesus to many people across many countries.
We imagined that we were the Gentiles and held a class debate, giving reasons for and against believing Paul and following Jesus. We remembered that he wasn’t always a follower and some were scared he could have been tricking us. However, the message he was telling was so powerful, that when we voted, we voted to become followers.
When he travelled to tell people about Jesus, he would have had to travel by foot, horse or boat. We painted pictures of him travelling and added in words to describe how we thought he would be feeling.
