Today all children have brought home a collection box to collect money to donate to the Catholic Children’s Society Lenten Appeal. In an informative assembly earlier this week Katie Waring from the Catholic Children’s Society told us all about the important work of the charity. She also reminded is that we are facing difficulty or have a friend who is unhappy, we should always tell a trusted adult as they may be able to help. The Catholic Children’s Society helps local disadvantaged children and families through their mental health services, family centres and emergency grants.
All pupils have also been given a ‘Lenten Quest’ sheet which will take them on a journey, making Lenten promises and reflecting on how they can live out Catholic Social Teaching and work for the common good.
Thank you for your continued support.
