Today we remembered all of the soldiers who have sadly died during battle.
Nursery learnt about why poppies are so special, especially today. We learnt this through a very age appropriate BBC clip, that you can watch at home: BBC Poppies
We then made our own poppies, creating a circle with the red paint, then cutting and sticking green cellophane for the leaves. Nursery loved doing this, and adding glitter to the poppies so we knew that they were extra special.
We observed the two minute silence during our music lesson, and Nursery were so sensible and quiet. They were very respectful and knew this was a special moment to remember those in heaven.
