Today, we started our new RE topic Life Choices. Our class had a brilliant discussion around what it means to belong, and even studied Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s most famous work Luncheon of the Boating Party where the class thought that a positive, celebratory atmosphere among friends was being depicted By the artist. In groups, pupils worked together to write down the key ingredients of friendship, what responsibilities friends have to each other, what is difficult about friendships and what it feels like to have a faithful friend.
Question: What do you think the word fidelity means and how does it apply to friendship?
The word “fidelity” applies to friendship because that word means being faithful to a person, and we all give support and loyalty to our friends.
