Thank you to everyone who supported our Macmillan Coffee Morning whether by making cakes, attending the event or making a donation. It was wonderful to see so many families present, including past parents, who are always most welcomed back to our school. A special thank you to Elaine (mother of Finley, Reception) and Sarah (mother of jack, Reception and Elsa, Year 3) who told us more about the valuable work that Macmillan nurses do. Macmillan provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care, and because cancer affects more than just those facing it, Macmillan are there for friends and family too.
