Year 6 were invited to The St. Marylebone Sixth Form to take part in a ‘Marvellous Magnifiers’ workshop.
Firstly, the children learnt how to correctly use a microscope nad then they had a go at making their own slides using onions cells and their cheek cells!
Finally all the children were offered a variety of objects to look at under the microscope such as: newspaper cuttings, sponge, a feather, a petal and even a live flea!
Thank you St. Marylebone for a wonderful afternoon!
