We have been learning about the Mayan Civilisation and how they lived. We have looked at the clothes they wore and how they made them. They would weave different materials together to make clothes, cloaks and blankets.
We have chosen some coloured string that we think are the colours the Mayans would have had, and are weaving them together to create our own ‘Mayan blanket’. It is quite fiddly work, but we are enjoying being resilient and helping each other when we get stuck!
