In Year 2 we have been looking at a new story called Meerkat Mail. The story is based on a meerkat called Sunny who is fed up of living at home with his enormous family. He goes in search of a new lovely place to live, however he is not pleased with his results. He is looking for a hot, sunny new home but he had no luck. We thought we would take a trip round the school to see if there was anywhere here that Sunny would like to live.
Our best places were the library because it was warm and peaceful, the roof because it was very sunny, and the sandpit because we know meerkats love sand.
