We would like to wish all of Year 2 and their families a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and restful holiday. We would also like to say a huge thank you for all of your kind words, well wishes and gifts – we are all incredibly grateful.
We have had a busy day in Year 2! We even did some Geography today! We think we might be one of the only classes in the whole of the United Kingdom that did some work today. As we had our very successful Nativity that we worked so hard on, we still had a little bit of work to do today. We also did our end of topic quiz, where we shared how much we have learnt about London this term. We have loved all of our learning, and have clearly remembered so much of it!
We even watched Cinderella with our friends and booed and cheered until our hearts were content. Our teachers even had to do the Macarena! In class, we had a bit of a dance party and played musical statues, but we’re all so good at it!
Year 2 had a great day celebrating our final day before the Christmas holidays but it was also our final day with Ms Rosellini. We have been so lucky to have her working alongside us since we were in Reception! We will miss her so much, and we feel so lucky to have had her support over the past few years. We wish you all of the luck in the world on your next adventure, Ms Rosellini – we will all really miss you!
Here’s a video of our dancing! (The password is as usual!)
I had so much fun dancing with my friends and I enjoyed watching my teachers doing the Macarena. 😁
Alexa has been dancing to the Macarena for a while now. 🤣💃
