Today we welcomed MP Mark Field to our school. Since the 2001 general election, Mark Field has represented the Cities of London and Westminster constituency as a Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP). On 13 June 2017 he was appointed a Minister of State at the Foreign Office.
Our different student groups (School Council, Pupil Chaplains, Green Team, Junior Travel Ambassadors, Sports Ambassadors) told Mr Field about the important work that we do and then he told us about his work as a politician. We also had the opportunity to ask him lots of questions. As well as his experiences as a politician, we asked him about the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street, support for the homeless, funding for schools-and many other challenging topics! We were very impressed with his honest answers. Thank you for coming to visit us.
