For our Religious Education topic ‘Welcome’ we have been learning that we are welcomed to the Family of God at our Baptism.
Thank you for sending in all of the questionnaires and photos and telling your children about their Baptism. We have loved looking at them and have learned so much from them.
We looked for signs and symbols of Baptism in each photo including; the baby, the church, the priest, the water, the white clothes and the candle and talked about them. Can you look at the photos at home and talk about what you see?
We have learned a song called ‘I belong to the Family of God’ and we are singing it every day.
Next, we are going to think more about what the priest says and does at the Baptism and act out some Baptisms at school using costumes and objects.
