Nursery’s Nativity!

This week in Religious Education Nursery started learning about the story of the Nativity. First we talked about the songs we have been learning for our special Nativity performance, and how these songs tell us a special story. We then watched a story of the Nativity, where during the story we paused to see what each of the characters names were. We then used our interactive whiteboard to tell the story with the different characters, focusing on Mary, Joseph, Angel Gabriel and baby Jesus. To consolidate our learning we each made stars, just like the star that the shepherds and the three kings followed all the way to Bethlehem.

Then today Nursery had their special Nativity assembly! They did such a good job being the angels in the nativity. All of the teachers were so proud of how everybody sat beautifully and sang the songs.
