Our new topic in Nursery this half term is ‘Growing.’ This week we helped set up our new outdoor role play area. We created a Garden Centre. We looked at lots of pictures of different garden centres as some of us haven’t been to one before. We talked about what you would find at a garden centre and what they sell.
We decorated lots of flowers using oil pastels to put in the garden centre and helped gather plant pots, garden tools, flower seeds and we looked for books about plants in our school library.
We have been enjoying playing in this area with our friends and developing our vocabulary.
We are excited to plant our own seeds soon!
