Despite our trip being cancelled due to the torrential rain, we’ve had a fun day at school learning all about the Great Fire of London.
We learnt the story through acting as different people from history, including Samuel Pepys, Thomas Farriner and King Charles II. We found out how the fire started and how they managed to put it out after 4 days.
We sang songs about the fire and produced some lovely pieces of artwork to show the flames and the buildings sillhouetted.
We cant wait to share everything we have learnt at our assembly next week!
