We are delighted to say that there has been a good response to our request for Parent Governor Election Nominations and there are three candidates for the two vacancies. This means we must now hold a ballot. Today every family has been sent home a hard copy of a letter which includes the personal statements for each candidate and a ballot paper for each parent. Each parent may vote for up to two of the candidates. Each parent can submit one ballot paper, regardless of the number of pupils they have attending the school. Votes can be made by placing ‘X’ on the ballot paper alongside the names of the parents you support. Once you have marked the ballot paper you should seal it in the envelope. This should then be put in the ballot box, which can be found in the school hall on Tuesday 9th April from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The count will then take place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday 9th April in the school hall. The election will be decided by a simple majority of votes cast. In the event of a tie, lots will be drawn. All candidates are welcome to attend the count.
When the election has been completed, we will let you know the outcome.
