We are very excited to be planning our SVPA Auction 2021. It will be a smaller event than usual but hopefully just as much fun, whilst raising much needed funds for the school.
It was with great sadness we had to cancel our School Auction last year. This year, we are actively planning our school’s 19th Annual School Auction and we are very pleased to announce that it will be on Friday 2nd July. As we had to adapt to the situation and the timeframe we will organize a slightly scaled-down online event (with an option to have it live if restrictions permit). Please SAVE THE DATE!
The evening is usually good fun and a great opportunity to socialize with other parents. This year, even if we can’t socialize we would still like it to be great fun and to make it a great success. We would encourage you to participate to our 2021 Auction by donating to help raise as much as possible. Please bear in mind that this year we won’t be contacting businesses as we used to on behalf of the school. As this Auction will only rely on parents, we want to strength the importance of getting involved in any way possible.
Previously the money raised has been used to upgrade the use of technology within the school as well as for curriculum enhancing activities such as; workshops with artists or authors, school trips, and pantomimes for Christmas. We also completed a three year fundraising program for the repair and improvement of the roof playground.
Ideas for donations
Below are some ideas on how you can donate. Most of us have talents or abilitiesthat could be shared within our school family (in Cooking – home country specialities / kit to cook at home / specific Hamper – in Craft what kind of class/workshop could you offer, what kind of service could you set up (language, music, birthday parties, baby/pet sitting). Other ideas might include sharing for a limited time some private experience you might have access to (clubs, gardens, sport membership, seasonal tickets).
