This week Year 1 we’re exploring the difference between good and bad secrets.
We discussed that a good secret is one that makes us feel excited and that you aren’t expected to keep for very long. For example planning a surprise birthday party for your little brother or sister. A bad secret is one that makes you feel funny inside and that you are expected to keep forever. For example if someone says they will give you sweets but only if you keep it a secret from mum and dad. We watched a video of Super Susie that discussed a problem and then Year 1 had a go in groups of sorting good and bad secrets. We talked about who are our trustworthy adults who we can tell if we have a bad secret.
Such an important message to learn! Well done year 1
So important for us to learn about trust and who we can trust if we have something we need to share. x
