Today, History came to life for Year 6 who were lucky enough to meet an evacuee!
I really enjoyed talking about life from an actual evacuee that was in World War 2!
Today was absolutely a pleasure to listen to Kitty. I loved all of it, especially when she told us about the cows! Thank you so much Kitty and I hope you have a great day. You are absolutely GREAT, a shining star.
Today was a the best day ever, because we met Kitty that was an evacuee in world war 2. The most funniest bit was when she said about the cows . We sang we’ll meet again and a special thank you to Kitty that has come today to talk about the past as an evacuee. You are a star with an amazing heart.
I enjoyed Kitty coming to school and talking about her experience in World War 2. I also loved when she explained about her as an evacuee.Sadly she spoke about when she lost her dad,younger brother and dose not know where her sisters is was the saddest part. I hope we will meet Kitty again and I am happy that we got real life information from and real life evacuee that actually experienced World War 2.
