We had a great World Book Day!! At school and at home the children dressed up in their favourite book character 🙂
We loved watching the video of all of the St Vincents staff reading our book this year – The Day the Crayons Quit, and we had a special surprise reader!Â
Miss Coleman and Molly zoomed our class to read one of our favourites, ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson, an author we love in Reception.
At school we made our own book character puppets, that we decorated and can use to tell our own stories! At home the children sent in pictures of their work, drawings and writing all about their favourite character.Â
We are all so pleased that we could still celebrate this special day all together this year!Â
