In our Religious Education topic of ‘Loving’ we have been practicing finding passages in the Bible and reading them to help us to understand about God’s unconditional love for us.
Today, we found and read the parable in Luke 15: 11-32. This parable is about the Lost Son’ and is also known as the parable of ‘The Prodigal Son.’ We also looked at various depictions of the parable. We then thought carefully about how to present the message of the father’s forgiveness for his son, which Jesus used to explain God’s forgiveness for His people, through our drawing. Then we painted these beautiful pictures using watercolours.
Thank you Miss Siswick for preparing this fun activity for us. I love how all the paintings turned out. They all look so pretty and colourful.
It was a very fun lesson.
