Religious Education: Our name is special

Our first topic in Religious Education is ‘Family.’ Over this topic we will learn about ourselves and that God knows and loves each of us.

To begin our new topic. We developed our understanding of our first and family name. We talked about all of our names in class and how we have different names to reflect that we are all different, just how God intended.

We tried hard to write our own names. We shared ideas and decorated a photo of ourselves to show how we are all unique and special.

We made a class display to remind us that God knows and loves each of us by name!
