Class 4 celebrated their project of The Romans by putting on a puppet show for the parents. We have been working hard in our groups to plan and create the puppet shows. We had to work together to make the puppets and use our creative DT skills to make pop-up backdrops. Using our English skills, we wrote scripts that used our knowledge of the Romans. We then filmed them so that we could show them to our parents.
As part of the cinema experience, we wanted to give our parents food. We made Roman rock cakes, filled with raisins, and served them with grapes. We even had popcorn – but we’re not sure the Romans had that!
We hope all the parents enjoyed the puppet shows, feel free to watch them again in the video!
