As there are so many different building projects taking place around our school, you will notice some safety measures which have put in place during the holidays.
Zebra Crossing on Aybrook Street
We are thrilled that we finally have a zebra crossing on Aybrook Street. This will help with the road safety for our children-especially when heading to the park after school! Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign for this and signed our petition.
Hoarding on St. Vincent Street for Howard de Walden Estate Project
The Howard de Walden Estate Marylebone High Street project will be starting later this month. Hoarding has been erected around the site and the pavement extended slightly to ensure pedestrians can still walk along St. Vincent Street and that children have clear access to the school. Additional lighting will be installed later this week.
Boxing in of scaffolding in the courtyard for St. Marylebone Project
The St. Marylebone Sixth Form Project to renovate the façade of their building and replace the windows could not be completed within the six week summer holiday so the scaffolding will remain in place until half term. We have boxed this in to provide maximum protection for the children. Although this impacts slightly on their outdoor space, the safety of the children is the key priority.
