What an incredible week we’ve had here at school! It has been a whirlwind of creativity, celebration, and learning, making it the perfect way to wrap up before half term.

One of the highlights was our amazing trip to the King’s Galley for a sketching workshop. We spent the day immersed in art, sketching the stunning surroundings and learning new techniques from professional artists. The students were fully engaged, capturing the intricate details of the gallery’s historic displays. It was such a hands-on experience, and the students left with a real sense of accomplishment and inspiration. The creativity sparked during this trip has already influenced our lessons back at school, where we are combining our newfound skills with our ongoing work on Andy Warhol.

We also took time this week to present our optional homework pieces to the whole class. It was so wonderful to see the amazing work the students did at home over the term.

We also had a wonderful time celebrating International Day, where the school came together to share and celebrate our diverse cultures. Students showcased their talents in a fantastic variety show, performing songs, dances, and poems from their unique cultural backgrounds. It was a heart-warming celebration of what makes each of us special.

To cap off a fantastic week, we also made Valentine’s Day cards, spreading love and creativity far and wide.

Wishing everyone a restful and fun-filled half term—enjoy the break, and we’ll see you back for more exciting adventures soon!
