Firstly I would like to say a big congratulations to all the students in Year 1!! Everyone did such a good job in their assembly- the lines were delivered confidently and loudly and the songs were sung beautifully. All of the costumes were fantastic so a big well done to parents at home for organising those.
This week we had a really busy week as we weren’t just getting ready for our assembly, but it was also Science Week! On Tuesday we were lucky enough to have Professor Bitty show us some science experiments in an assembly and then we got a one-on-one session with the Professor to use different ingredients to make slime! The students had so much fun.
Throughout the week we used the website Explorify to explore some challenge questions. We played a game called ‘Zoom in, Zoom out’ where we started in really zoomed in on an object and gradually zoomed out to see what it is. We also played the ‘What’s that Sound?’ game where we had to listen to the different sounds and see if we could guess what it was!
