Year 1 have begun their new Science topic, Seasons. We learnt that there are four seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. We learnt that the earth moves around the sun and it is slightly tilted. This is what causes our seasons because through the year different parts of the planet are closed to or further away from the sun’s light.
Today we looked at a painting of the four seasons by the artist Monet. We each painted the season using paint brushes, sponges and cotton buds.
