To launch our Shakespeare project, Year 2 went to a storytelling workshop to hear the tale of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. It was a very confusing story, so we had to listen carefully as Phil explained who all the characters were and what happened to them. He told the story very well and we laughed a lot at all the mischievous things the fairies get up to!
Well done Year 2 for being a fantastic audience – Phil was very impressed with your behaviour and how well you engaged with the story!
We can’t wait to continue the project with our director coming in to rehearse with us after half term!
