Year 3 have enjoyed practicing their sketching techniques this week.
We were reminded that the best part of sketching is that it only requires paper and pencil – it’s so easy t0 do!
We practiced making light and dark marks on the paper by changing the way we hold our pencil. To help our drawings be more accurate, we used shapes and guidelines before adding the detail and shading.
After Miss Carruthers had drawn hers, we were able to review it to see how to make it even better. It was helpful learning from mistakes as this is how we can make our drawings even better.
