At St. Vincent’s we love reading and we love having fun so today, as every year, the staff dressed up for Book Day as well as the children. Our Book Day theme this year promoted our love for our planet. We celebrated storytelling through stories that share a love of nature, animals, the environment and our planet. The stories were chosen to inspire and spark curiosity amongst our children!
Do you know which book characters we dressed up as?
Have you read any of these books?
Have you been inspired to read any new books?
It was nice to see all the teachers in their costumes. We all love reading and we loved having fun today.
It was so nice to see all the staff dressing up as an animal character. I loved Book Day and I enjoy reading.
It was very funny to see the teachers and staff dressed up in their costumes! I’ve already read His Dark Materials, Charlotte’s Web, The Hare and the Tortoise and I’m reading Can We Save The Tiger?, though I might read One Springy Day.
AMAZING costumes! I love them all especially Charlotte the spider!πΈπ·πΈπ·
