This week, Year 3 have been learning about The Stone Age. We travelled back in time to find out how Stone Age people survived but we had to journey through a magical hoop to get there!
The children became hunter-gatherers and searched for different resources. When we returned to the classroom, we talked about each of them and decided if they were a threat or an asset. We found things such as trees, animal skin, caves, bad weather and other humans.
The children were able to discuss the different ways these things could be used as well as the potential dangers they could have. We then recorded these in our History books.
It has been such an exciting topic so far and the children have shown so much enthusiasm towards all our new learning.
Keep up the brilliant work Year 3!
